What we collect and what we do with it.
Last updated November 1, 2026. This page explains what information Health Sense Magazine collects when you visit or contact us, and what we do with it.
Reading the site
We don't use advertising, tracking cookies or analytics tools, and we don't ask you to create an account.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
- Fonts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when you visit.
- Dark mode. If you switch to dark mode, your browser remembers that choice on your device. It isn't sent to us.
When you contact us or submit news
The Contact Us and Submit News forms send what you type, including your name and email address, to our inbox by email. We use an email delivery service (Resend) to send it. We use this information only to read and reply to your message or to report on the news you sent. We don't sell it or add you to a mailing list.
To keep out spam, both forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check that looks at basic information from your browser. It doesn't use tracking cookies.
Please don't send health information. Our forms aren't for medical questions, and we can't give medical advice. Don't include details about your own or anyone else's health, diagnosis or treatment.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as we need them to respond, report a story or keep a record of a correction, and then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, through the contact form.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
